MARIA COFFINAS, ESQ. has over fifteen years of experience in litigating marital and family law cases in the greater New York metropolitan area. A graduate of Brooklyn Law School and Brooklyn College, Ms. Coffinas has dedicated her legal career to issues of divorce, custody, child support, spousal maintenance, equitable distribution and domestic violence.
Ms. Coffinas has tried numerous cases in both Supreme and Family Courts and has participated in a number of successful appeals to the Appellate Division. Prior to forming this firm in 1997, Ms. Coffinas was a partner in the law firm of Rosenthal, Vallario & Coffinas.

 

MEREDITH A. LUSTHAUS, ESQ. is a graduate of George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia and The American University in Washington, D.C. Since moving to New York in 1996, Ms. Lusthaus has been actively engaged in marital and family law litigation, having previously been associated with the law firm of Rosenthal, Vallario & Coffinas. Ms. Lusthaus has also tried numerous marital law cases and has participated in appeals to the appellate division.
Ms. Lusthaus is a member of the American Bar Association Family Law Section, The Brooklyn Bar Association and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association. Prior to engaging in the practice of law, Ms. Lusthaus worked as a Washington D.C. lobbyist for a variety of public interest groups and also worked on the Capitol Hill staff of a New York City Congressman.
